We’re all about flattening the curve and helping protect our fellow Californians from the coronavirus and COVID-19. Right now, that means hunkering down at home and only leaving for essential activities like shopping for food, picking up your dispensary and pharmacy orders, and seeking medical attention. If you’re not sure how to while away the hours, we suggest placing a pickup order for your fave Green Goddess products and then zoning out with some of these fun shows from the following streaming providers.
What to Watch While High: Netflix
Take a deep dive into “reality” programming and ease your fears about what’s happening in the real world with The Circle, Love at First Sight, Next in Fashion, and Queer Eye. There’s also plenty of design and decoration shows if you want to think about sprucing your place.
Want to laugh your head off? Netflix has countless comedy specials that will marry perfectly with a yummy indica. Check out Hasan Minhaj, Dave Chapelle, Fortune Feimster, and Ali Wong for some lighter entertainment.
What to Watch While High: Amazon Prime
There’s a lot of great original programming on Amazon Prime. Opt for something new like The Marvelous Ms. Maisel, Carnival Row, and Good Omens, or indulge in classic shows like The Sopranos, The Wire (remember when everyone was talking about this show?), and Star Trek.
You can even use Amazon Prime to order yourself some snacks for your self-isolation to enjoy your binge session in style.
What to Watch While High: Hulu
Cult classic Broad City is available for streaming on Hulu and highly recommended, as are The Golden Girls, Bob’s Burgers, and The Simpsons.
Hulu also has some great original programming like Shrill, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Ramy. If you don’t have regular TV, Hulu is great for keeping up with current shows too. You can generally catch new episodes a day or two after they air.
What to Watch While High: Disney +
With Disney+, you can go a few different routes. Can’t get enough heroes? Why not binge-watch the entire MCU (Marvel Comics Universe) movies? If you only watch one a day, it will take you 22 days to get through them all. Already watched enough of them? Why not check out the Marvel cartoons?
Not a fan of capes? Revisit your childhood with Disney classics like Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, and more. You can even turn it into a game by taking a puff when a character acts in a way that is no longer culturally appropriate or relevant.
Disney+ also has some great nature docs for those who want to explore the outdoors while social distancing inside. And, of course, if you’d rather head out to a galaxy far, far away, The Mandalorian—and that snuggle-worthy baby Yoda—awaits.
We know these are trying times, and we’re committed to serving you. Please, use our online menu to place your order and schedule a pickup.
